Wake Up Calls for Your Brain

If you don't dream of anything, note it. If you do this, try to write down everything you can remember from the twists and turns of the night, even if it's just a shadow or color that isn't clear. Over time, you will realize that your ability to remember the details of your dreams has increased significantly, and you may begin to pay attention to patterns or themes for your dreams.

Vocabulary Maintenance and Expansion

Night Reflection and Relaxation

Most of us have a very busy schedule and a little pressure on our minds, and not infrequently these things burden us when we really have a short break from endless responsibilities - like when we try to sleep. Consider keeping a note or journal next to your bed, and provide 15-20 minutes each night to write down your thoughts about that day. If there are things that make you stressed, bringing them onto paper to admit it can help relieve anxiety so you can take a break.
